I created this wallpaper trying to duplicate the apple logo in the menu bar of OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Then I added a nice little splat to the backdrop.

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that seeing as this is a greyscale job, a colour depth higher than 8bit won't end up being an issue. Like I say, I could be wrong, I'm not exactly a CS3 expert! More of a hobbyist with internet access and a download manager
Thanks for the input. I've created a few (more colorful) versions of this wallpaper that the color question better suits. In this case yeah, probably doesn't matter. I'm really not sure though. I'm a hobbyist as well.
